Bitcoin in America

This was my very first time writing on Medium. I remember loving the interface for writing, editing, posting, sharing with other readers and thinking, “This site will do great!”

Wanted to share this post, Bitcoin in America, as it does show a lot of my earlier thoughts about bitcoin and the digital currency space and how they relate to financial inclusion. In the year that has passed, I have traveled to many countries to learn about financial inclusion technologies and have become more convinced that Stellar is an important step towards greater economic access.

Article 22 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has a right to an adequate standard of living. Yet, without access to basic financial services in America, it becomes increasingly difficult to get a roof over your head and pay your bills.

Basic financial services are a critical first step in taking care of and advancing ourselves, our families and our communities. Without it, an adequate standard of living falls further out of reach.
